KDP Book Formatting & Launch
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m ready to move my 95,000-word fiction manuscript from Microsoft Word to Amazon KDP and I need a detail-oriented partner to guide me through the last mile.
Interior
The book will be a 6 × 9-inch paperback. Please take my raw Word file and turn it into a press-ready PDF that meets every KDP specification—proper margins and bleed, consistent chapter headings, running headers/footers, page numbers, and any front- or back-matter styling that keeps the reading experience smooth. The layout must pass the KDP previewer with no warnings.
Cover
I already have two draft concepts for the front and back. I need you to calculate the exact spine width for 95k words, place the artwork on the correct KDP template, embed fonts, adjust color profile, and supply the final print-ready PDF. I’d like to see a quick digital mock-up before sign-off.
Launch support
Once files are approved, walk me through the actual KDP upload: selecting the right trim size (6 × 9), paper, pricing, and categories; checking the proof; and clicking publish. I want to be certain the listing goes live without surprises.
Deliverables
• Print-ready interior PDF
• Print-ready cover PDF (based on my chosen concept)
• Source files for both interior and cover
• Step-by-step assistance up to the moment the title is successfully submitted on KDP
