Format Children’s Book for Kindle
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have a finished children’s book laid out with full-page illustrations, and I now need it professionally formatted so it uploads smoothly to Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. The manuscript and high-resolution images are ready; the cover is already complete, so the task is entirely internal layout and file preparation.
Your job is to:
• Set the trim size and margins appropriate for picture books on KDP.
• Place each full-page illustration exactly where it belongs, keeping spreads intact and text perfectly readable on every Kindle device, including tablets, phones, and the Kindle Kids’ Book Creator simulator.
• Embed fonts, handle bleed settings, and ensure colour profiles remain vibrant after conversion.
• Deliver a validated, upload-ready file (EPUB or KPF) plus a PDF proof so I can cross-check before hitting “Publish”.
I’ll supply the manuscript in Word, the illustrations as PNG/TIFF, and any style notes you need. I’d like a quick turnaround with one revision round included to catch anything missed. If you have recent examples of children’s titles you’ve formatted for KDP, please mention them when you respond.
