Public Speaking Papers (Evaluating Speakers)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
- You will evaluate two (2) speakers to complete a 2-3 page paper using TNR 12 pt and appropriate citation format for any reference materials.
- You will submit your paper on Wednesday, December 15th.
- Your paper should relate the attributes of the speeches being analyzed and the speaker to concepts/information discussed in the text and class. This paper should review the speech components of content, organization, wording with delivery.
Your paper should contain the following components:
- Introduction.
- A review of one of your classmates as a speaker. You may critique any of that student’s speeches from the semester.
- A review of a professional presentation, The second speaker will be a professional presentation. Examples include Ted Talks, Forum presentations, etc.
- Requirements for the professional presentation:
You must submit a link for the presentation in the proper citation format for the speech/presentation.
The presentation you critique must be at least 7 minutes long.
