Guidelines
Form a group: Collaborate with classmates to form a group
Identify a social issue: Select a social issue that aligns with your group's interests and passions.
Conduct a needs assessment: Gather information about the chosen social issue, including its prevalence, impact, and existing interventions.
Develop an advocacy plan: Outline your group's advocacy goals, target audience, and specific strategies. Submit this to your instructor for approval.
Implement advocacy efforts: Engage in your approved advocacy goals such as public awareness campaigns, lobbying, or community partnerships.
Evaluate impact: Assess the effectiveness of your advocacy efforts and document outcomes.
Create a final report: Summarize your group's project, including the social issue addressed, advocacy strategies implemented, and evaluation results. You will present this to your class on the last day of class.
