Request for Proposal: Music Publicist for Sam Bettens

Project Overview:
Trident MMP is seeking an experienced, high-level music publicist to spearhead a strategic media campaign for Sam Bettens (the voice of K's Choice). Following the release of the album Coming Home and the California EP, we are looking to amplify Sam’s unique personal narrative and musical artistry through targeted media placements.

Primary Objectives:

Digital Press: Secure consistent coverage, reviews, and features on top-tier music blogs and lifestyle websites.

Broadcast Media: Facilitate and arrange television appearances and radio interviews/features.

Brand Narrative: Leverage Sam’s compelling story of authenticity and resilience to secure "deep-dive" profile pieces.

Key Requirements:

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in securing high-impact coverage on reputable music and news platforms.

Industry Relationships: Strong, existing connections with journalists, editors, and broadcast producers.

Communication Excellence: Ability to craft compelling press releases, pitch decks, and electronic press kits (EPK).

Negotiation Skills: Ability to navigate and secure favorable placement terms and exclusive features.

Ideal Skills & Experience:

Extensive background in music-specific PR.

An established network within the Indie/Alternative/Singer-Songwriter genres.

Experience working with established legacy artists transitioning into new solo projects.

Ability to work effectively with organic, self-financed project budgets to achieve maximum ROI.
