I am managing communications for a high-profile UK case that is drawing public attention well beyond our borders. My immediate priority is pure media outreach—no crisis or reputation work—aimed at securing balanced, authoritative coverage across print, online, and broadcast outlets. Coverage must hit both the national press here in the UK and key international titles that influence opinion in Europe, North America, and the Commonwealth.
Your role is to design and execute the outreach strategy: identify the right journalists and producers, craft compelling angles, draft and refine press materials, and then place the story. Access to databases such as Gorkana, Cision, or Muck Rack will be helpful, but I am open to the tools you already trust.
Deliverables I need to see:
• A targeted media list segmented by national and international reach
• Drafted pitch emails or call scripts tailored to print, online, and broadcast formats
• A concise outreach calendar with agreed milestones
• Weekly progress updates and secured coverage reports (links, clippings, or recordings)
