APAC Media Relations Strategy

Job ID: 39887729

Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR

I need an experienced PR professional to design and run a focused media-relations program across the Asia-Pacific region. The priority is to secure meaningful coverage in both print and online outlets that reach our target audiences.

Scope of work
• Research & recommend the most relevant newspapers, magazines, trade journals, news sites, and influential blogs in key APAC markets.
• Draft a concise outreach plan that maps story angles, publication/editor targets, and timelines.
• Produce press materials—press releases, pitches, and short op-eds—tailored to each outlet’s style and readership.
• Conduct outreach, manage follow-ups, and leverage your existing journalist relationships to land interviews or article placements.
• Track results and deliver a coverage report with links, clippings, and performance insights.

What I’m looking for
• Demonstrated success with media relations in APAC, especially in markets such as Singapore, Australia, Japan, and India.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Cision, Meltwater, or similar, to measure reach and sentiment.
• Clear, proactive communication—I’d like weekly status updates and a final recap of outcomes and next steps.

Deliverables
1. Curated media list (print & online) with editorial contacts.
2. Press kit (core release, backgrounder, company boilerplate).
3. Outreach timeline and reporting template.
4. End-of-campaign coverage report.

If you can open doors to respected publications, craft compelling stories, and drive measurable coverage, let’s get started.
