Looking for a Person to interview about their experience with Chronic Infectious Diseases
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
We do interviews in English and Spanish:
I need participants living with chronic infectious diseases for a 30-minute interview. The goal is to gather insights to educate others and reduce stigma around these diseases.
Some details:
As a patient:
1) Due to the sensitive nature of the topic we do not show the face, just the voice. We can also sensor your name if you would like.
2) We hope to format the interview as a casual conversation as much as possible. We would love to 1) hear your story, 2) understand your experience (i.e. stigma, challenges or accessibility of care, etc.), 3) how or if it affects you both physically and/or emotionally on a daily basis, and 4) have you come to accept your condition? If yes, how did you get to this point? If not yet, are there services in your area available for mental health support of people with chronic infectious disease?
As a doctor:
Are you currently a practicing physician? Would you be willing to share your perspective on the public health infrastructure, stigma or support you see chronic infectious disease patients experience, and the future direction of public health in the country?
It is not live, so if at any moment you would like to pause, restart, etc. That is perfectly fine! We will edit it in post production and verify the final version with you before posting!
Let me know what time is most comfortable and we will adjust accordingly!
We do ask that you make sure you have zoom functioning as well.
Payment is $10 per interview.

Necesitamos participantes que vivan con enfermedades infecciosas crónicas para una entrevista de 30 minutos. El objetivo es recopilar información para educar a otras personas y reducir el estigma alrededor de estas enfermedades.

1. Debido a la naturaleza sensible del tema, no mostramos el rostro, solo la voz. También podemos censurar tu nombre si lo deseas.
2. Esperamos que la entrevista tenga un formato de conversación casual en la medida de lo posible. Nos encantaría:
1. Escuchar tu historia.
2. Entender tu experiencia (por ejemplo: estigma, desafíos, acceso a atención médica, etc.).
3. Saber cómo te afecta —o si te afecta— física y/o emocionalmente en tu vida diaria.
4. Saber si has llegado a aceptar tu condición. Si la respuesta es sí, ¿cómo llegaste a ese punto? Si aún no, ¿existen servicios en tu área para apoyar la salud mental de personas con enfermedades infecciosas crónicas?
Como médico: ¿Eres actualmente un médico en ejercicio? ¿Estarías dispuesto a compartir tu perspectiva sobre la infraestructura de salud pública, el estigma o el apoyo que experimentan los pacientes con enfermedades infecciosas crónicas, y la dirección futura de la salud pública en el país?
No es en vivo, así que si en cualquier momento deseas pausar, reiniciar, etc., ¡no hay problema! Lo editaremos en postproducción y verificaremos la versión final contigo antes de publicarla.
