Freelancers will contribute their expertise in both clinical and research psychology to help improve AI systems by shaping how models understand, reason, and respond in human-centered contexts.

2. Key Responsibilities
Opportunities could include tasks such as:
Reviewing and refining AI-generated content for psychological accuracy and sensitivity
Providing structured feedback on mental health and behavioral science contexts
Supporting model training on psychological research and clinical reasoning
Tagging and organizing content by topic, research domain, or clinical theme
Assisting with evaluation tasks to ensure models demonstrate realistic, safe, and ethical behavior
3. Ideal Qualifications
2+ years of experience in psychology research, clinical practice, or related fields
Degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Bachelor’s minimum; advanced degree preferred)
Familiarity with both clinical and experimental research methods
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Comfort providing critical, structured feedback
4. More About the Opportunity
Remote and asynchronous — set your own hours
Part-time contract (typically 15–25 hours/week) with optional flexibility up to 40 hours/week
Projects vary in scope and duration; no obligation to commit long-term
5. Compensation & Contract Terms
$50–$100 / hr depending on location and experience
Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
You will be classified as an independent contractor to Mercor
