You are supporting Andrea (19 year old with ASD) as she starts her new job at a clothing
store. Andrea has been successfully trained in the following tasks at work: folding all
clothing, sweeping the floors, sorting hangers.

An interview with Andrea’s employer about her job-related social skills reveals that
Andrea requires training in recognizing when and how to (1) ask for help when she
doesn’t know how to do something or can’t find something she needs and (2)
making confirming statements when a task is given.

Pick one of the job-related social skills mentioned and outline how you would use
BST to teach Andrea to demonstrate these skills at her new job. Be sure to
consider which jobs she is trained in when creating your BST intervention.
