APA Annotated Bibliography
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
1. Locate an article on ONE of the two below topics (the articles should be from a reputable site……NO WIKIs):
How are language and thought related?
Or
How does Infant-Directed Speech affect children’s language development?
2. Write an annotated bibliography for the article you chose (Refer to the Annotated Bibliography example). An Annotated Bibliography is NOT a research paper.

Cite the source (your article) on the first line of the page according to APA.
Double-space the source and the body of your annotated bibliography.
Type an overview of what a reader would find in the article you chose. Summarize the article. This is usually about five or six sentences.
3. The annotated Bibliography must be formatted according to APA style of writing (Review the APA PowerPoint for examples).
A description and examples for an Annotated Bibliography are provided in the Annotated Bibliography PowerPoint under the 'Helpful Resources' link.
