PCB Prototype Build & Test

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I already have the full schematic, PCB layout files and a complete BOM for an airflow-control heater that relies on dual heater coils for both sensing and heating. What I still need is a hands-on hardware partner who can turn those files into a physically assembled board, power it up, and prove that it works. Ideally someone who operates from a workshop with standard electronic tools.

Scope
• Assemble the PCB to the supplied drawings and BOM (no redesign needed).
• Perform basic functionality tests ‑ confirm the sensing coil reads correctly, the heater coil reaches target temperatures, and the onboard controller responds to airflow changes. Regulatory or environmental compliance is not required at this stage.
• select whatever benches, scopes, thermal cameras, or test rigs required
• Document the process in detail: explanations of any build tweaks, test procedures, raw results, and your conclusions.

Deliverables
1. One fully working prototype PCB, safely packaged and shipped to me.
2. A concise report covering build notes, test setup, measured data and pass/fail results.
3. Updated design files only if you had to make minor footprint, component, or routing adjustments during assembly.
4. Voice calls and video calls at least on every milestone to communicate issues and updates.

Communication
Real-time collaboration is important. I’ll schedule video and voice calls at key milestones—before the build starts, during initial power-on, and after final testing—so we can walk through observations live and keep everything transparent.
