Project Description: Metal Master Part for Clear Resin Prototypes

We are looking for an experienced professional to create a master part for resin prototypes. The ideal candidate should have expertise in working with metal materials and creating high-quality, precise master mold parts.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in working with metal materials
- Experience in creating master parts for resin prototypes
- Attention to detail and ability to produce precise measurements
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
Project Requirements:
- The desired material for the master part is metal
- The client has STL drawings of the part
- The project needs to be completed within 3 weeks
- An NDA will need to be signed before STL files are transferred.
Part Specifications:
-The parts consist of a lid and body. The lid is ~ 13.75" x 6.2" x .5". The body is ~ 16.2" x 5.9" x 2.2". See attached photos for more details.
-The parts have rounded edges. This includes on the internal "ribs".
-The parts have a draft angle which needs to be on the mold. This includes on the internal "ribs".
-The parts will need to be polished to a smooth finish
-The parts have been DFM'ed for injection molding and this part needs to mimic the final production size, aesthetic and angles.
Bonus:
If you have experience in making molds and casting resin parts please also include that. We will be hiring someone after we receive and verify the master part to create 10 to 50 prototypes.
