LED Vibration Mask Prototype
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking to build a simple wearable mask prototype that combines light and vibration to create a relaxing sensory experience.
The device should include LED lights (preferably RGB) positioned so they shine through closed eyes and run different light patterns. It should also include 1–3 small vibration motors that sync with the light patterns to enhance the experience.
I’d like a few basic modes such as calm (slow and soft), medium, intense, and a random mode that generates varying patterns. The patterns should transition smoothly and not feel harsh or abrupt.
The device should be controlled with 2–3 simple buttons (power and mode switching). No app or connectivity is needed.
It should be powered by a rechargeable battery (USB-C preferred). The physical build does not need to be polished—this is just a working prototype to test how it feels to use.
Comfort and functionality are more important than appearance at this stage.
