Early Functional Prototype Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm seeking a skilled professional to develop an early functional prototype aimed at proving our concept. The project includes research on passive cooling solutions and creating CAD models with a focus on safety and material specifics.
Note:
- An NDA will be required prior to sharing full project specifications.
- All intellectual property, designs, prototypes, documentation, source files, and derivative works developed under this project shall be the sole and exclusive property of the project owner (me).
- Freelancer agrees to assign all rights, title, and interest in the work product upon payment.
- Work may not be reused, resold, or displayed in portfolios.
Key requirements:
- Design an early functional prototype for concept validation.
- Research and propose passive cooling solutions.
- Develop CAD models with detailed, safe material specifications.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Biomedical engineering
- Prototyping and product development/design expertise.
- Knowledge of thermal management solutions, thermal/heat transfer experience-: particularly passive cooling.
- Proficiency in CAD software with a strong understanding of material properties.
- Prototype experience
Desired outcome:
- A functional, wearable prototype
Preferred:
- Biomedical engineer with medical device development experience
- Experience with FDA Class I/II devices
- US-based preferred (for regulatory familiarity)
