Custom Goldwing F6B Cargo Rack

Job ID: 40043032

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I want a single-piece cargo rack for my 2013 Honda Goldwing F6B that bolts straight into the factory holes left by the passenger back-rest and hand-rail mounts—no drilling or adapters. The rack must sit exactly 1" above the rear seat and run the full length from 1" in front of the tail right up to the front edge of that seat.

Material & finish
I’m set on black-anodised aluminium for a light, corrosion-proof result that looks factory.

Shape & surface
Viewed from above, the outline should mirror the bike’s tail and rear-seat contour with smooth curved edges. The top itself needs to be a grate or open-slat pattern so water drains and I can run ratchet straps through.

Load & tie-downs
Plan for a 75 lb live load: my dog’s seat bolts on with four M8 threaded bosses you’ll integrate, plus additional perimeter holes sized for standard motorcycle tie-downs so I can also strap a toolbox.

Deliverable I’m after the finished, ready-to-install rack (powder-coated or anodised black) or, if fabrication shipping is a hurdle, complete CAD files and a cut/ bend drawing set that any local water-jet shop can follow—including material spec, bolt pattern, and a note confirming the height clearance.

Acceptance checks
• Bolts straight into stock holes with supplied hardware
• Sits 1" above seat, clears tail paint by 1"
• Carries 90 lb in a static test without deflection
• Uniform black anodised finish, no sharp edges

If you’ve built custom racks, panniers, or similar fab projects, let’s talk specifics and timeline.
