Basic UE5 Atomic Bomb Simulation Prototype
Budget: $50 – $150 USD
EXTREMELY BASIC Atomic Bomb Simulation Prototype (Unreal Engine 5)
I need a very barebones UE5 prototype.
This is NOT a full game. It is only a proof-of-concept to demonstrate the core vision.
Everything should be minimal and placeholder quality.
⸻
Requirements
• Unreal Engine 5
• 1 flat test map
• Primitive/cube buildings only
• Basic physics objects (simple meshes are fine)
⸻
Explosion System (Main Focus)
• UI slider/input for explosion size
• Detonate button
• Visible expanding shockwave sphere
• Radial force that pushes nearby objects
• Simple destruction method (any of the following is fine):
• Fracture into chunks
• Swap to broken mesh
• Collapse via physics
Explosion must clearly communicate scale, but does NOT need cinematic realism.
⸻
Camera
• Ground POV
• Aerial/top-down view
• Free camera with zoom
• Simple keybind switching
⸻
Basic UI
• Explosion size control
• Detonate button
• Reset button
• Optional simple text readout
⸻
STRICTLY DO NOT INCLUDE
• Polished graphics
• Cinematic VFX
• Advanced shaders
• Detailed assets
• Sound design
• Multiplayer
• Steam integration
• Save systems
• Optimization work
• Real-world physics accuracy
This should look like programmer art / placeholder assets.
⸻
Deliverables
• Full UE5 project files
• Packaged Windows build (.exe)
• Simple instructions for changing explosion values
