Ambient Lighting Cube Prototype Creation

Hello,
I am currently developing a new consumer product concept. I am looking for an experienced product designer/engineer who can help me design, build, test, and ship one fully functional prototype to South Korea.
This is a one-time prototype project, not a mass-production project.
I have attached two AI-generated reference images. I understand that AI-generated images may not be perfectly achievable in the real world. However, I would like the lighting quality, atmosphere, softness, color blending, and overall visual feeling to be as close as possible to these references. The lighting quality is the highest priority of this project.
Project Goals
-The goal is to create a beautiful desktop ambient lighting cube that feels elegant, calming, and premium.
-The cube should create an emotional lighting experience rather than simply displaying RGB colors.
-The overall appearance should feel clean, refined, and modern.
Prototype Requirements
-Cube size between 15–17 cm
-Acrylic exterior
-High-quality finish
-Minimal visible screws or fasteners
-Clean and refined appearance
Front Artwork Panel
-The front image should be replaceable.
My current idea is:
-Press the front panel.
-The panel pops out slightly.
-The user removes the artwork.
-A new artwork panel slides back into place.
This mechanism is only an idea.
If you have a better solution, I am happy to discuss it.
Lighting
-Lighting is the most important part of this project.
I would like:
-Soft and even light diffusion
-Smooth color blending
-Beautiful gradients
-No visible LED dots if possible
-Comfortable brightness
-Premium visual quality
I understand achieving this may require testing different materials, LED positions, diffusion methods, or optical solutions.
I am completely open to your recommendations.
LED System
I am currently thinking about:
-Separate LED system for the front artwork panel
-Separate LED system for the cube itself
If you think another solution is better, I am open to discussing it.
Lighting Effects
Instead of simply turning on,
I would like the cube to:
-Slowly illuminate with a smooth startup animation.
-Remain gently alive while idle with a subtle breathing effect.
-Have approximately three lighting modes that create different moods.
-Allow touch control to switch between lighting modes.
-Allow touch brightness adjustment.
Base
-The cube should sit on a separate base.
Current idea:
-Wooden base
-Champagne gold accent
-Cube mounted at a slight backward angle
These are only ideas.
I'm happy to hear better design suggestions.
