Spanish Translator (Spanish - English) Required for Regular Role
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Hello!
We are looking for a skilled English to Spanish translator for an exciting new, regular role at Investoo.
We have two different roles available for a skilled Spanish translator who can proofread/edit auto-translated content to a high standard. Auto-translation will do the bulk of the work and it will be up to you to proofread and edit the content to ensure that it's grammatically correct, sounds smooth and of a high enough quality. Mostly, this will involve fixing broken sentences, mistakes etc.
The two listed roles would begin around the end of October/start of November.
JOBS AVAILABLE:
1. Proofreading/editing 20 pieces of static content a week:
Pay = From $10 per hour
- This suits translators who favour a regular set number of translations. You can expect to receive 20 static pages every week (or around 85 pages a month).
- Each piece takes on average 1 hour 15 mins each. This is of course an 'average'. Some will be much longer, and some will be much shorter but overall the average you can expect each piece to take is 1 hour 15 mins per piece.
- This is a guaranteed 20+ hours per week of work, often surpassing that number.
- Your pay will be hourly which you will track via UpWork.
- You'll be given access to a sheet every week with a link to 20 pages to work on
2. Proofreading/editing news items Monday-Friday
Pay = From $2 per article (each article takes 10-15 minutes)
- This suits translators who are flexible and can work daily, including weekends. Weekend work will be less but there will still be some work on weekends.
- This suits translators who are looking for continuous work that pours in daily, e.g 5-25 articles per day. You can work up 700 news articles a month depending on your capacity.
- Each day you'll receive alerts via Slack telling you a piece is ready for you to look over and you have a few hours to click on the link in the notification, read over the auto-translation and edit/proofread it and click 'publish'. It's a very simple process.
- Each news article takes on average 10-15 minutes to edit/proofread
- This is a higher pace role but offers guaranteed volume and good pay.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
