A compelling stand-alone short story in the fiction genre is the entire focus of this project. I have a loose concept and mood in mind but welcome your imaginative spin, distinctive voice, and strong sense of narrative structure. The finished piece should feel fresh, character-driven, and emotionally resonant while staying between 2,000 – 3,500 words (flexible if the story demands a little more or less).
