Sailing Club annual journal Proofreader Needed
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
In my role as a volunteer coeditor of a sailing club annual magazine, I'm seeking a proofreader who is adept at working with material penned by amateur writers of all ages. We have diverse articles which require to be corrected and brought together, including flag officer reports, feature articles, results, fleet and regatta news articles, and more.
Expectations and Requirements:
- Acurate processing of each piece. Can be done at night, working with Editors using Google Shared docs. Culminating in checking the digital typeset magazine draft.
- The ability to handle substantial workload - proofreading 20 or more small articles of up to a page each within the given timeframe.
- Excellent understanding of English language and grammar.
- Preceding experience related to proofreading will be required. Melbourne based an advantage.
- Past copies of magazine available as a guide to the desired result.
