Role and Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance: Thoroughly review, proofread, and edit manuscripts and other content to ensure they are free of errors. This includes typographical, grammatical, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and formatting errors.

Consistency Check: Compare and evaluate documents to ascertain and rectify inconsistencies in content, style, and layout.

Alignment with Guidelines: Ensure all content is in sync with client's guidelines and editorial standards.

Constructive Feedback: Collaboratively work with authors, writers, and the broader editorial team to suggest necessary edits and revisions.

Timely Deliveries: Work efficiently within assigned timelines, ensuring content is ready for the next stage of publication.

Continuous Learning: Remain updated with evolving language trends and industry standards to ensure top-quality proofreading.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

A minimum of 3 years of professional proofreading experience.

Outstanding grasp of the English language, ensuring the highest quality in proofreading tasks.

Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring content is free from errors.
