I am currently looking for a proofreader and wanted to reach out to see if you might be a good fit for some upcoming projects.
The proofreader must be a Canadian living in Canada.
Firstly, I need someone who is proficient in working with Word documents, especially in following pre-made designs. It's important that the formatting and design elements are preserved while you proofread.
Additionally, I'd like to know if you are comfortable with business terminology. Many of our documents include industry-specific language, so familiarity with business terms is essential.
Another key aspect is SEO. Do you include keywords for search engine optimization while proofreading? This is crucial for some of our website content.
Speaking of which, do you have experience proofreading content specifically for websites? We aim for clarity and engagement on our site, and having a proofreader who understands the nuances of web content would be invaluable. The website content file will be the first one we will tackle. It is made of 2500 words for which I offer $150 including light SEO modifications if need be.

We have templates that need to be proofread once. These are standard documents that will be used repeatedly, so accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.
We also have business plans that need to be proofread on a per-project basis. These are more variable and can be quite detailed, so a thorough and meticulous approach is necessary.
