Polish College English Notes

Job ID: 40579817

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

A set of college-level lecture notes needs to be elevated from rough draft to publication-ready material. The text is already in English, but sentences still read as first-pass transcription—some awkward phrasing, inconsistent tense, and occasional structural gaps. The job is to refine every page so that ideas flow logically, terminology remains accurate, and grammar, punctuation, and style align with standard academic conventions (Chicago or APA is fine; just stay consistent).

Source files will arrive in a single document; I can export to Word (.docx) or Google Docs—work in whichever environment allows you to track changes visibly so I can review every adjustment.

Key expectations
• Line-by-line proofreading with corrections for spelling, verb agreement, and punctuation.
• Stylistic editing where sentences feel clunky or repetitive; keep the author’s voice, but tighten wording and improve transitions.
• Consistent heading hierarchy, bullet alignment, and table formatting so students can scan quickly.
• A short change log or inline comments whenever meaning might be affected.

Deliverable
1. Clean, fully polished file.
2. A marked-up version showing tracked changes.

Turnaround within five days from file hand-off.
