Multilingual Document & Media Transcription
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have a series of written documents, audio files, and video recordings that all need to be converted into clear, well-formatted text. The materials span several languages, so I am looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable working in a multilingual environment and can switch effortlessly between at least English, Spanish, French, and any other common languages you may offer.
Your task is straightforward: deliver polished transcripts that preserve every nuance of the source, flag any inaudible sections, and follow a consistent style guide (speaker labels, paragraph breaks, and, for audio/video, optional time-stamps on request). I am not tied to a specific transcription tool—Express Scribe, oTranscribe, Subtitle Edit, or your own preferred workflow is fine—as long as the final text is accurate and neatly formatted.
To keep the process smooth, I will supply the media files in manageable batches, along with any relevant notes or glossaries. Turnaround time is flexible but reliability is key; once we agree on a deadline for a batch, I expect that commitment to be met. Confidentiality is essential, so please be ready to sign an NDA before receiving any files.
Deliverables
• Clean, proof-read transcripts in editable text format (DOCX or Google Docs)
• For audio/video: optional time-stamped version if requested
• Quick summary of any sections that required clarification or could not be heard clearly
Acceptance criteria
• Minimum 98 % verbatim accuracy
• Consistent formatting across all transcripts
• All agreed deadlines met
If this fits your expertise, let me know which languages you handle confidently and share a brief sample of previous transcription work. I look forward to collaborating with a detail-oriented professional who can help me turn these mixed-media materials into precise, searchable text.
