Post/Position: Lead eBook Editor & Proofreader
Description: We are looking for an eBook Editor who will collaborate with a team of writers in creating an information product line (ebooks and audiobooks) centered on specific topics. He/She is expected to refine, proofread, and fact-check (when applicable) the draft contents of the team of writers.
*SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS*
The candidate must have:
- Good editing and proofreading skills
- Exceptional command in written English
- Patience and great listening skills as he/she collaborates in the thought process
- Great communication skills both oral and written
- Good understanding of writing styles and tones to suit narratives and content
- Educational background in English, Journalism, Communications Arts, Liberal Arts, or related disciplines [advantage but not required]
- A wide experience in related roles [preferable]
- Flexibility and initiative
- The desire to complete tasks on/or before stipulated deadlines
