Gaming Translation Quality Review
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
I have a set of in-game text files already translated into 16 languages—Spanish, French, Hindi, Mandarin and a dozen more. Before we push them live, I need a fresh set of expert eyes to spot mistranslations, style slips, or terminology that feels off in a gambling / gaming context.
Please open each file in its native format, read line-by-line against the English source and flag anything that breaks consistency, sounds robotic, or misuses industry jargon. When a fix is obvious, go ahead and rewrite the segment; when it isn’t, leave a concise comment so we can decide together.
What matters most to me is your hands-on experience localizing or editing content for casinos, slots, sports betting, or comparable games—show me that background and I’ll know you’re the right fit. I don’t need lengthy proposals or portfolio links; a short note highlighting relevant projects and the languages you’re strongest in will do.
Timeline: initial feedback on the first batch inside one week, with the full round of polished files wrapped up no later than the end of week two.
Deliverables
• Cleaned translation files returned in their original formats
• A change log or comment layer summarising every modification and any open terminology questions
If that schedule works and the subject matter feels like second nature, let’s get started.
