Scribbr editors share a love of language and writing. They correct theses and reports and help students with the language, structure and clarity of their texts. For this team, we are looking for motivated language experts who want to develop themselves together with us.
What you can expect as a Scribbr editor
- Remote working: edit from home, your Airbnb in Mexico or your tent in Nepal.
- Flexibility: enjoy the freedom to set your own hours.
- Administrative support: Let us handle customer contact and logistics, giving you the time to focus on proofreading and editing.
- Technical support: Receive support from our support team, ranging from help with editing to simply a friendly chat.
- Community: Talk to other Scribbr editors about language issues in our private Slack group and receive tips on freelancing in our Scribbroo blog.
- Personal development: increase your proofreading speed and improve yourself with our personal feedback and tips.
Your profile
- You are an English speaker.
- You have completed at least a bachelor's degree.
- You are available for at least 10 hours a week.
- You are available in the busiest period of the year (May and June).
- Every now and then, you are happy to help students during the weekend or on a public holiday.
- You are reliable, flexible and easy to reach.
- Meeting deadlines is a piece of cake for you.
- You are inquisitive and curious about different subjects.
