Road Construction Planning & Billing

I’m managing a new road-construction contract and need a skilled engineer who can own both the planning and the billing aspects from day one. The assignment centres on turning our design package and BoQ into an actionable schedule, a tight cost plan, and a clear resource map, then keeping all three fully aligned so monthly bills can be raised without dispute.

What I specifically need help with:
• Project scheduling – create a detailed baseline programme with critical path analysis, cash-flow curves, and two-week look-aheads. Primavera P6 or MS Project is preferred, but I’m open to a solid Excel-based Gantt if that’s your strength.
• Cost estimation – translate quantities into a cost breakdown that matches our budget codes and feeds into an earned-value dashboard for fast variance checks.
• Resource allocation – build labour, plant, and material histograms that tie back to the schedule and flag bottlenecks early.

Once the project moves into execution, I’ll rely on you to update progress, adjust logic and productivity rates, and prepare interim payment certificates so our billing is always current and defensible.
