Scope
Assume that XYZ Group is a big Telecom Enterprise with 9 subsidiaries in different countries, the main Subsidiary is based in Egypt.
XYZ has released a tender to shortlisted companies, and INTDV won it. The tender was to implement a set of projects: a public website for the group, an Intranet for the employees, infrastructure connecting all the subsidiaries and a mobile app.
The purpose of this project is to build an enterprise collaboration platform, which facilitates sharing the of Group information & services among its customers [Public website ], Enables efficient communication among employees within the same subsidiary [Intranet], and Connects all 9 subsidiaries together [Infrastructure] plus fancy customers communications & services through [Mobile app]
The intranet should integrate with existing internal applications: Time submission tool (ready), ERP system (development in progress by another vendor)
The contract amount for implementation is 2,000,000 $ & duration for 1 year and 300,000 $ for 1-year support, starting date is 1st Aug 22.
The below table summarizes the high-level payment terms,
Down payment 10% Go-Live 75% Support 15%
For this specific project, XYZ. purchased a new set of production servers, the servers will be prepared by their IT department and is planned to be ready for use on 12-Aug-2021. But all the other environments can be assumed available.
Internally, INTDV has some challenges in availing 20% of the resources needed to deliver this project. INTDV management is aware of this issue, and they put a plan to resolve this issue before the project starts, also IntDv has an issue with the proposed timeline & payment terms.
