Web App Project Manager Needed

Job ID: 40500099

Budget: $8 – $15 CAD

I’m gearing up to launch a brand-new web application and need a seasoned Project Manager who can steer the entire software development lifecycle from kickoff to go-live. Your focus will be on keeping the team aligned, the scope controlled, and the release date realistic.

Scope
• Translate my high-level product vision into a clear, executable roadmap.
• Build and maintain a sprint schedule in Jira (or a comparable Agile tool) and keep burndown data current.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews so developers stay unblocked and priorities stay sharp.
• Coordinate UI/UX, front-end, back-end, and QA efforts, ensuring hand-offs are smooth and nothing slips through the cracks.
• Track risks and dependencies, flagging anything that could jeopardize budget, timeline, or quality.
• Provide concise weekly status reports outlining progress, blockers, and next steps.

Acceptance criteria
1. A detailed project plan delivered within the first week.
2. Sprints tracked and updated in real time, visible to all stakeholders.
3. Weekly reports submitted every Friday, summarizing velocity, issues, and upcoming milestones.
4. A launch checklist confirming functional, security, and performance sign-off before deployment.

If you’ve successfully managed web app launches, thrive in Agile environments, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, I’d like to hear how you’d lead this project to a smooth release.
