Water awareness programme -- 2
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The water saving awareness program has a singular ultimate goal, which is to enable the monitoring of its impact through water bills once the program is completed. The program consists of multiple well-defined work packages. The first work package focuses on evaluating and assessing the profile, characteristics, and water usage patterns of the target groups, which include government and private sectors, educational institutions, and the general public. This evaluation will be conducted before, during, and after the program to gather comprehensive data.
The second work package entails the development of customized awareness campaign modules tailored to the specific needs of each target group. To ensure the effectiveness of these modules, extensive engagement will take place with relevant stakeholders, allowing for input and assessment of the proposed campaigns. Emphasis will be placed on creating an implementation plan for the delivery of these modules.
The third work package involves conducting a pilot study in a designated area to showcase the effectiveness of the assessed awareness campaign modules. This pilot study will encompass various activities planned within each module and may be executed through either a significant event or a series of mini events.
Once the program concludes, the impact monitoring phase will commence. A dedicated application will be utilized to collect water bill records periodically from representatives of each target group. This monitoring process will enable the evaluation of the program's impact over time.
The program's duration spans 18 months, from the initial kickoff to the final submission of the program report.
