Define roles and responsibilities for volunteers, ensuring alignment with project requirements and strategic goals.
Develop and implement a volunteer management strategy, including volunteer orientation, training, retention, and recognition programs.
Facilitate and enhance communication among volunteers and between volunteers and the organization, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative environment.
Use online recruitment platforms and social media effectively to reach out to potential volunteers.
Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of volunteers to ensure optimal performance and personal growth.
Handle conflict resolution among volunteers in a professional and empathetic manner.
Liaise with project leaders to understand needs, determine suitable volunteer placements, and ensure ongoing support.
Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of volunteer information, contributions, and achievements.
Organize and coordinate volunteer events, meetings, and training sessions.
Work in line with our organization’s mission, values, and objectives, promoting them throughout the volunteer recruitment process.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in volunteer recruitment and management, preferably within the tech sector.
Strong understanding of blockchain, peer-to-peer cloud, web3 applications, and other relevant technologies.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrable organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse group of volunteers.
Proficiency in using online platforms for recruitment and volunteer management.
High degree of initiative, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field (desirable).
