Task Management System with Progress Tracking -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I want to build a focused project-management tool specifically for project managers who need a clear view of every task’s status. The core of the system is task management, and the must-have feature is detailed progress tracking so managers can instantly see what’s moving forward and what’s stalled.
The workflow I picture is straightforward: create a task, update its percentage-complete or stage, and surface that data in an easy-to-scan dashboard. While options such as deadline tracking and priority setting could be added later, they are not required for this first release.
Here’s what I expect to receive:
• A working, user-friendly interface (web or desktop—use whichever stack you’re fastest with) that lets me add, edit, and archive tasks.
• Real-time or near-real-time progress indicators for each task and an aggregate view for the whole project.
• A clean backend structure that will let me extend the system after delivery.
I’m happy to discuss preferred frameworks and databases once you have a feel for the scope, but efficiency and maintainability are top priorities. If you can deliver a lean, intuitive task manager with rock-solid progress tracking, let’s get started.
