Swept Path Analysis for Heavy Rigid Vehicle access to construction site

Job ID: 40303531

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I need a licensed traffic/transport engineer to confirm that a 12.5 m Heavy Rigid Vehicle (the AS2890.2 design vehicle) can safely enter, manoeuvre within, and exit our construction site. A clean CAD survey (DWG) is ready to share.

The job
• Model the vehicle strictly to AS2890.2.
• Run swept-path tests on the supplied plan, highlighting entry, turning, loading, and exit movements.
• If the first pass is non-compliant, adjust the vehicle envelope within AS allowances and re-test until a practicable, safe solution is found.
• Mark up any required kerb modifications, widening, or line-marking changes directly on the drawing.

Deliverables
• Marked-up plan set in PDF and DWG, clearly showing paths, clearances, and conflict points.
• Brief technical memo summarising methodology, assumptions, and confirmation of AS2890.2 compliance.

To include in your response
• Proof of current engineering registration or accreditation.
• Two or three samples of similar HRV or heavy-vehicle access studies.
• The software you will use—AutoTurn, Vehicle Tracking, PathPlanner or equivalent.
• Estimated turnaround time and fixed-fee proposal (or milestone breakdown).

Survey files and any supplementary data will be supplied immediately upon engagement, and I’m available for quick clarifications throughout the project.
