seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with specialized expertise in the Supply Chain and Transportation industry, particularly in managing IT aspects of acquisitions. As the IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of technology systems during mergers and acquisitions within our organization. This individual will be responsible for executing the acquisition strategy/plan set forth by Leadership. They will drive both functional and nonfunctional aspects of IT integration plans for a current acquisition that the client is working through. They will be responsible for considerations around technology infrastructure, software applications, compliance, security and data systems. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and legal, to align technology strategies with overall business goals during the acquisition. They will help Identify potential risks related to IT integration and implement proactive measures to mitigate these risks, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption. They will oversee the integration of diverse IT systems, ensuring compatibility, data integrity, and optimal performance across the newly merged entities. Lastly, they will Implement effective change management strategies to support the transition of employees and stakeholders to new IT systems and processes. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - 10- 15+ years experience leading IT projects at the enterprise level - Proven experience as an IT Project/Program Manager specifically within the Supply Chain/Transportation industry - Proven experience leading projects that are focused on Mergers/Acquisitions OR complex integrations ideally the candidate has been involved in multiple acquisitions - Proven experience with Budget and Timeline Management: Develop and manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring that IT integration projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints - Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise software applications, and data management within the specified sector - Understanding of Risk Management, can demonstrate this knowledge from previous projects - Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the Supply Chain/Transportation industry - MS Project/Excel experience for tracking projects timeline, budget and deliverables - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across various departments - Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment, forward thinker, strong problem solving skills NICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) - Transportation or Logistics Software - TMS or WMS applications - Specific experience with the following: asset-based carrier, dedicated transportation and brokerage.
