Streamlining Connected Boards for Optimal CRM
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
• We want to take advantage of connected boards
• When my boss began using this he opted to use lots of templates and which don’t exactly align with our needs and best use scenario
• What is the best way to do file storage?
• Can CRM and Work Management mirror and connect?
• Basically every item should become a profile and dashboard overtime so that we can visualize and track their impact on our business
CRM
• CRM will be a repository of contact information
○ Brokers and lead generation on new deals
○ Investors
§ Main investor board
§ Deal specific investor boards with contacts pulled from main investor board
□ These two will look different
□ When new contact is entered on master list toggle to populate deal specific list OR the other way around
○ Lake HOA contacts for cedar point and WOL as well as list of common lake vendors
• CRM currently has deals, markets, accounts and activities
○ I am not sure if CRM is the best place to house these
○ These need to be linked to work management somehow and at some point for deal evolution to be tracked in Monday.com
• Currently tracking PPM log in CRM. Eventually want deal specific investor list tied to deal not CRM
• How to set up email templates, mass emailing, sequencing
• I have set up reminders in the contact board. I do not this this is the best way to do this. I need an activities board to track future activities with reminding alerts as well as other meetings
Work Management
• Work management needs to work in alignment with "deal funnel"
○ Lead > LOI and Due Diligence > Close and closing period > Development and construction
○ As deals move through the process or funnel they need to go from Item > Group > Board > Workspace
§ As leads develop they become more complex and require more functionality until ultimately is become an active project that needs its own work space
□ Do you see a better way to do this?
§ Major needs: checklist and item tracking, due dates, timeline, associated files storage, log updates, reminders?
○ It is important to understand that functionality and feature needs are different at each stage of the timeline
• Need to be able to cross reference between lead and market for ex. If a lead comes through and is in Raleigh, I want to connect it to Raleigh. Then I want to be able to go to Raleigh and see all deals that are tagged Raleigh in one place.
