Stormwater Hydraulic Design Plan -- 2
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I need a qualified hydraulic / civil engineer to prepare a complete Site Stormwater Management Plan that focuses on a fully-engineered drainage system design for my project. Your work must be ready for submission to the approving authority, so every drawing, calculation and narrative has to satisfy all applicable local government regulations, recognised industry standards and current environmental protection guidelines.
The scope covers hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, sizing and routing of pipes, swales or channels, and clear documentation of design assumptions. If you believe supplementary measures—such as detention, retention or green infrastructure—will strengthen compliance, feel free to flag them; however, the core deliverable is the drainage system itself.
Please use professional tools you are comfortable with (e.g. AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, SWMM, XP-Storm or similar) and make sure units, rainfall data and land-use coefficients align with the local authority’s requirements.
Deliverables I expect:
• A stamped SMP report in PDF summarising methodology, results and maintenance recommendations
• Full hydraulic calculations and model files
• Plan set and profiles in both PDF and native CAD formats
Turnaround time and communication are important to me, and I will provide prompt site data, survey and architectural drawings once we start. I’m happy to answer technical questions along the way and will review each milestone quickly so you can keep momentum.
