Smartsheet Approval Workflow Coaching
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I need clear, hands-on coaching to build a fully automated approval process inside Smartsheet. My goal is to move away from manual email chases and let Smartsheet handle every step—from the moment a request is submitted, through each approval tier, to the final status update.
Here’s what I want to achieve
• A single sheet (or linked set of sheets) that captures new requests through a form, automatically routes them to the first approver, then cascades to the next level if approved—or flags it as rejected and notifies the requester.
• Time-based reminders and escalations if an approver hasn’t responded within a set window.
• Automatic status, date-stamp, and comment logging so the audit trail is airtight.
• Email and in-app alerts that look clean and professional, using Smartsheet’s dynamic fields.
• A reusable template so I can spin up the same workflow for other teams later.
What I expect from you
1. A live screenshare session (or two short sessions) where you walk me through building the workflow step by step in my own Smartsheet account.
2. A finished example sheet with the approval automation fully configured.
3. A brief, plain-language guide (bullet points or annotated screenshots) summarizing the key settings so I can replicate or tweak the process on my own.
Optional but nice to have: quick tips on how this setup could later be expanded to integrate with external tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams—no deep dive needed right now.
If you’re confident with Smartsheet’s automation panel, conditional paths, and approval blocks—and you enjoy teaching as much as building—let’s get started.
