SmartSuite Project Invoice Workflow
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m ready to overhaul our SmartSuite project-management space and need someone who truly knows the platform inside out. The core objective is to build a streamlined workflow that automatically generates invoices from completed project data.
Here’s what I have in mind:
• Extend our existing project-management solution in SmartSuite so each project record can capture billable hours, expenses, and client details in real time.
• Configure automations that, on project or milestone completion, pull those fields into a branded invoice template (PDF or equivalent).
• Trigger an email dispatch to the client and file the invoice back into the appropriate SmartSuite record for easy retrieval and reporting.
• Keep the entire process native to SmartSuite—no external apps unless absolutely necessary—so the team can maintain and tweak the system themselves later.
I’ll provide an outline of our current tables, fields, and naming conventions as soon as we start. You’ll advise on any additional fields, build the automation, and test end-to-end functionality with me until invoices flow correctly every time. A brief hand-off session or short Loom video showing how to make minor adjustments will round things out.
