Residential Structural Design & Analysis

I’m preparing to move my residential building project from concept to reality and need an experienced structural engineer to take charge of the full design and analysis during this planning phase. Your role will be to translate the architectural intent into a safe, code-compliant structural system, delivering all calculations and documentation required for permitting and construction.
Key deliverables I will be looking for:
• Complete structural drawings (foundation, framing, roof, connections) in CAD/PDF
• Load calculations and analysis reports that satisfy local building codes
• A concise design brief outlining chosen materials, assumptions, and design criteria
• One revision cycle after I review the initial package with my architect
I’m happy to share the architectural floor plans and site information as soon as we begin. If you regularly work in tools such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, or similar analysis software, please mention it, and include a sample of a recent residential project so I can gauge fit and style.
