Project Manager for Hybrid Infrastructure Deployment
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We are looking for an organized and proactive Project Manager to help keep a hybrid infrastructure project on track. This is a light coordination role — the engineering work will be handled by an experienced, self-sufficient engineer, with most tasks executed independently and minimal customer involvement.
The PM’s focus will be on tracking progress, coordinating dependencies, and keeping the company owner and assistant informed so the engineer has what they need to deliver on time. You may be engaging with another contractor on the customer side, but that will mostly be for coordination of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the project schedule and monitor progress against milestones.
- Coordinate with the engineer to identify needs, blockers, and next steps.
- Communicate regularly with the company owner and assistant to ensure timely support for the engineer.
- Keep simple, clear project status updates.
- Facilitate limited customer interactions during the migration phase (about 4 weeks).
Requirements:
- Experience managing IT projects or similar technical deployments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal oversight.
