Project Manager and Private Guide Needed for Business Trip
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 AUD
Looking for an experienced Project and Event Manager in Egypt to help our business (based in Australia) organise two exciting events which we will attend in November over two weeks.
We need someone who has excellent organisational skills, is well connected in Cairo, and has a thorough understanding of the area and any event regulations we need to consider.
Whilst working for us, you must be available to communicate with our team in Australia five days a week from the date of hire until we arrive in Egypt. In Egypt, we will require you to be with us everyday for 14 days, acting as a local guide and ensuring the events run smoothly.
The events:
1. Organise a multiple-day cleanup event along the Nile River. This will require:
○ Recommendation of location - where we can clean the most polluted spots!
○ Organise any permits required
○ Organise locals (paid + volunteer) to cleanup with us
2. We want to build a large pyramid installation in the desert using the rubbish we collect at the Nile and pre-purchased ‘rubbish bundles’ or ‘waste bricks’. This will require you to:
○ Find a location in the desert with the Pyramids in the background where we can build the waste pyramid and have the installation set up over multiple days
○ Find a local recycling center who can provide us with plastic bundles or waste bricks
○ Purchase and store the waste bricks until the event
○ Organise the delivery of the waste bricks to the event site
○ Organise the delivery of the rubbish we collect at the Nile River to the event site
○ Organise the building of the waste pyramid and any staff required to help
○ Organise any overnight security that we might need
○ Organise pack up & staff needed
○ Arrange plastic bundles and river rubbish to be picked up and processed
Other duties:
We need you to be our on the ground expert and help us build a structured itinerary for our time in Egypt. This means recommending where to stay, organising private transport (for 3 people, plus you!) and offering your local knowledge to help execute our events and ensure we have a comfortable stay in your country.
Time & budget:
We will pay $5,000 AUD for the entire project. You will be required to work as much as necessary in order to professionally organise both events and attend every day with us for 14 days in November.
Who are we:

Our mission is to Untrash The Planet from single-use plastic by funding clean-up events around the world and stopping the production of more single-use plastic by refilling and reusing our products for a lifetime.
Work with a great team in Australia and join our sustainable business to help make these two awesome events come to life!
