Project Manager Needed – Web SaaS Personal Services Directory (Next.js/Node/AWS)

Overview

We are developing a verification-first personal services directory for the Australian market. The MVP includes profile claim flows, tiered listings, ID/age verification, content moderation, reviews, search/ranking, and an admin console (no payment function at this stage).

We need a Technical Project Manager to take charge of the entire project, including sourcing, hiring, training, and managing all developers and staff required for delivery.

Responsibilities

Recruit, onboard, and manage developers/designers/QA/support staff.

Define project scope, backlog, and milestones; run Agile processes.

Coordinate distributed team and ensure deadlines are met.

Oversee integrations (ID verification, media processing, hosting/CDN).

Establish moderation & trust/safety workflows.

Maintain risk register, compliance log, and weekly progress reports.

Deliver training materials, SOPs, and launch runbook.

Requirements

Native-level English (written & spoken).

5+ years project management of web platforms/marketplaces.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver on schedule.

Experience with Next.js, Node.js, AWS, PostgreSQL (technical fluency required).

Strong knowledge of security, privacy, and moderation practices.

Proven integrity, honesty, and accountability.

Must provide references from past clients.
