Project Manager Needed Part Time
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
We are DesignPax, a Web Design & Development agency specializing in designing, developing, and supporting digital experiences for businesses and the e-com market.
For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional who has experience managing a team of freelance contractors based around the world. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills. As a Digital project manager, you should also use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
Tools we’re using (and you’ll be too): Slack, Trello, Figma, Zoom, Grain.
What you'll be responsible for:
Forecast project revenue, potential risks, and resources needed in project plans
Play an active role scheduling and leading all stakeholder meetings including kickoff
Support our retainer clients by scoping, managing, and prioritizing and executing new client requests
Plan projects to ensure that they are completed within defined time and budget
Monitor progress of projects to ensure they meet targets and client expectations
Ensure all stakeholders have a clear view of activities, milestones, costs, and risks at all times
Check in with contractors to ensure they are not over-scheduled on project tasks and have everything they need to work effectively and efficiently
Collaborate and communicate regularly with internal team on project resourcing, progress, and challenges
Provide regular status updates
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including:
Communicate clearly and regularly to stakeholders
Allocate appropriate resources
Review and update project schedules
Plan and manage project timelines and budgets
Supervise and review work done by the project team
Maintain project documentation (as little as the team/client requires)
Establish and support positive work and stakeholder relationships
Provide estimation and planning support for business development
Facilitate presentation of milestones/deliverables to the client
Interact closely with clients on any issues or questions that arise day to day
We are aligned to the PST timezone, so you should ideally overlap to daily sync on the current progress.
The project budget is indicated for part-time work (20 hours) per week.
