Project Management - Fibre Internet Construction in UK - Must Have Experience
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are currently seeking a project manager or telecommunications engineer with specific experience of UK fibre underground and overhead cabling installations projects.
You will be managing a build project remotely, which means you will be:
- Studying the project plans
- Ongoing day-to-day project management
- Communicating via phone and email with the delivery team about progress and problems
- Communicating via phone and email with the general contractor about progress and problems
- Sending regular invoices for work done to the general contractor
- Tracking payments paid and chasing unpaid invoices
- Monitoring and tracking project progress
- Finding and bringing on additional trades where necessary to complete work faster
- Updating directors on project progress
- Negotiating with general contractor for additional work
Hours Monday - Friday 8am-6pm UK time. Saturdays you need to be contactable in case of emergencies.
You must have experience of UK fibre build projects and be able to understand project plans and telecommunications-specific terminology. No training is provided.
You must speak and write fluent English.
You must have access to reliable power and fast internet connection (minimum 10 mbps download).
