We are a new organization focused on developing Farm to Fork Community Food Systems. We need a grant writer to assist us in researching and accessing USDA grants that are focused on marketing, market development, supply chain development.
We just started a project in the Palouse region of SE WA to develop a demonstration farm for a coop with 150k acres of mostly wheat farms. As we are engaging the entire food system, i.e. farmers market, food hub, abattoirs, we will need multiple grants to support that effort for our clients, in addition to funding our own efforts.
