Part-time Project Manager for Sustainable Architectural Products

Job ID: 33517593

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

Hi!

Habitat Matter is looking for a Project Manager to help us out with fulfilling orders for our beautiful, sustainable, acoustic products.

You’ll be responsible for the successful quoting and delivery of our beautiful, sustainable, acoustic design products, working directly with architects, designers, manufacturers, and contractors.

After training, you will be in control of the full project: getting quotes, reviewing specifications, placing bids, submitting shop drawings, tracking shipments, and ensuring an on-time project at every step of the way.

Please note that it would be nice if you have experience with architecture, design, construction, or engineering, this is not a design or engineering role, and it is fully remote. You’ll start with standard and straightforward projects, with the intention to work up to more complex and critical projects.

A good candidate must be independent, a good communicator, an excellent record keeper, and skilled at anticipating and resolving conflicts in a calm and friendly way. You should be personable and responsible with a keen eye for details.

Responsibilities:
- Receive standard quote requests from potential & existing clients
- Review construction documents for any details (we can train how to do this)
- Coordinate & track outstanding requests, including deadlines for bids in Hubspot
- Request pricing from our manufacturers, and follow up as necessary
- Put together quotes and proposals in our company templates
- Either send quotes directly to contractors or coordinate with the Habitat Matter project lead
- Maintain clean and organized files within our company Dropbox.
- Each month, prepare a pipeline report of pending & closed proposals

Requirements
- Native or Fluent English
- Good working proficiency with Excel, Google Docs, PDF manipulation
- Ability to work and make & receive phone calls with Europe and US during their working hours

COMPENSATION & TIME
Part-time according to project needs. Starting at about 20 hours per week.
Ideally, 9am-1pm US east coast time, but the time zone can be flexible.
We’ll provide about 2 weeks of training & a trial period, then on-the-job training will continue.

HOW TO APPLY
