Part-Time Planner for Weekly Shift Scheduling
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented part-time planner to assist with weekly shift scheduling based on public transport routes and quotas.
The task involves manual planning using Excel files and online bus/train timetables.
You will be planning for a team of approximately 10 staff members located in different areas, and planning around 40–50 shifts per week.
The work requires strong Excel skills, structured thinking, and the ability to manage multiple details accurately.
Key tasks include:
Plan 40–50 staff shifts per week for approximately 10 staff members across multiple locations.
Manually research bus and train timetables online and align shifts with predefined quotas per line and times periods.
Manually planning and enter all shifts into an Excel file.
Ensure each shift starts and ends near the staff member’s location.
Deliver completed schedules 2–3 times per week as they are finalized.
Communicate weekly with the manager to review schedules.

Quotas and timebands for each line in separate Excel files.
Maps and online resources for all relevant public transport lines.
Guidance and briefing for the manual planning process.
Requirements:
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
Good sense of maps and locations.
Comfortable manually gathering online schedule information and manually planning the shifts.
Reliable, structured, and able to work independently.
Educational background preferred but not required.
Workload and Compensation:
Approx. 15 hours per week.
Fixed weekly rate: 50 $ for a predefined number of shifts.
1–2 week trial period, then potential long-term collaboration.
