Operations Project Management Support
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
My team juggles several day-to-day operational initiatives and everything must stay visible in a single, well-structured workflow built around Google Sheets and Gmail. I need a detail-oriented project manager who can turn our scattered updates into a clear picture of progress, priorities, and next steps.
Core responsibilities
• Tracking project progress – maintain status sheets, update timelines, flag blockers, and produce concise weekly summaries pulled directly from Google Sheets.
• Coordinating team communication – keep the Gmail threads tidy, set up labels and filters, ensure every task update reaches the right people, and chase responses when deadlines slip.
• Resource allocation – log hours or inventory in Sheets, highlight under- or over-allocated resources, and propose quick adjustments before they impact delivery.
Day-to-day you will refine our existing spreadsheets (formulas, conditional formatting, maybe a lightweight dashboard) and design an email cadence so nobody loses sight of a task. I’ll share the current Sheets structure and a sample inbox; you’ll propose improvements, implement them, and run a short hand-over video to confirm everything works.
Deliverables
1. A streamlined Google Sheets tracker with automated status indicators and resource tabs.
2. An organised Gmail label/filter system plus a short SOP on how we use it.
3. A one-page weekly report template generated from the tracker.
Acceptance criteria: all projects display accurate status at a glance, no critical email remains unlabelled for more than 24 hours, and the weekly report can be reproduced in under five minutes.
If you thrive on order, quick iterations, and clear metrics, this should be a straightforward and rewarding engagement.
